pAfter making a killing at the box office back in October, it was predicted that, much like what was done with the previous installment, Paramount and MTV would utilize the plethora of deleted footage from a href=http://www.reelmovienews.com/movies/jackass-3-d/emJackass 3D/em/a to create another feature-length film to release to the masses. With a franchise that seems tailor-made for the internet, the forthcoming a href=http://www.reelmovienews.com/tags/jackass-3-d-sequel/emJackass 3.5/em/a will be released online in weekly segments before being packaged together into a full-length film available digitally and on other home video platforms./p p style=text-align: center;a href=http://www.reelmovienews.com/gallery/jackass-3d-poster-4/img src=http://static.reelmovienews.com/images/gallery/jackass-3d-poster-4_464×718.jpg width=464 alt=Jackass 3D Poster 4 height=718 //a/p pI don’t want to say that the Jackass guys invented the Internet, but they were doing viral videos before most people had even heard the term

  • Just like Crazy Heart last year, there’s an indie drama that we’ve never heard of until a few months ago that a small studio is releasing just in time for Oscars in hopes of getting its star a nomination and potential win. It’s called Frankie and Alice and, according to early buzz , it does actually put Halle Berry in the Oscar race once again. Frankie and Alice is described as a “moving psychological drama” based on the harrowing true story of Frankie Murdoch (Berry), a woman suffering with multiple personality disorder

  • Even though we’re still two years out and shooting hasn’t even started on The Dark Knight Rises , we’re already at that point where we’re hyping it up just for the sake of hype. As in, even though there is no news or new information to report, this new quote from director Christopher Nolan is still worth reading just because it’s an awesome two-year-early tease for the extremely highly anticipated conclusion to his Batman saga

  • At the end of October we heard from Matt Damon that he was planning on shooting Steven Soderbergh’s gestating biopic on famed pianist Liberace next summer. However, since the man attached to play the iconic musician, Michael Douglas, had contracted Stage 4 throat cancer, his future, both in his career and life, seemed uncertain. However, THR recently spoke with the actor who revealed that he is recovering famously and is eager to get back to work very soon.

  • Though plenty of fans were quite disappointed to learn that Mark Wahlberg would step into the role of Nathan Drake for David O. Russell’s adaptation of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune , maybe a different project with the actor will interest you. In an interview with MTV , Wahlberg revealed that he has his sights set upon Broken City , a project that would pair the actor with director Allen Hughes , one-half of the Hughes brothers directing duo behind films like The Book of Eli and Menace II Society .  Wahlberg describes the film as a neo noir/crime thriller/mystery in the same vein as Chinatown or L.A

  • Though we got an intriguing first trailer back in May, sad news came later that Universal’s The Adjustment Bureau starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt would be delayed until March 2011. That creates some worry for the film from first-time director George Nolfi (known previously for his writing credits on such films as The Bourne Ultimatum ), but I’m still extremely excited to see the flick.
