With the pseudo sequel to 1973’s The Wicker Man the aptly titled The Wicker Tree , now in theaters, Nicolas Cage (who will be seen next month in the absolutely over-the-top comic book sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance from Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine) dropped a gem of an idea he’s got. Cage was recently asked about revisiting characters and surprisingly answered that he would like to make a sequel to the 2006 remake.

Oh, how funny! The Artist is poised to most likely win Best Picture at the Oscars in just a few weeks , and although there’s somewhat of a backlash against it (which I just don’t get at all), it’s a wonderful film full of cinematic joy and an immense appreciation for Hollywood past.
